Not a good chair for adults
By Chaosklima
I normally do not submit Amazon reviews. However, after purchasing this product (and subsequently returning it the next day), I felt obliged to write one.
First and foremost, this chair is cheaply constructed. It is stretchy cloth pulled over a lunky particle board frame. The armrests felt like they were going to give way from the moment I sat in it.
Second, it is uncomfortable. After one 2.5-hour Skyrim session, my low back was killing me. There is zero lumbar support (and I mean that literally, not figuratively). Also, there is no padding or batting on the bottom chair edge where the back of your legs rest. So if your back doesn't hurt after a couple hours, your lower legs probably will from the impingement of blood circulation.
Third, it is unstable. Just setting it on the floor, the chair is more akin to a papasan. It rolls back into a cupping position, so you are like a potato bug on it's back. Guaranteed neck strain as you crane your head and neck forward to overcome the awkward rolled-back position. The only way to combat this is to prop the back of the chair against a couch, so that you're sitting more upright. Also, the armrests are not spaced far enough apart for adults.
To be fair, I am a 40 yr old man. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 240 lbs. So, admittedly, I require a fairly sturdy, supportive chair. While this chair may work for kids or teens, if you are an adult or you have a larger frame, or if you plan on gaming for more than a half-hour at a time, do not purchase this chair. You will be disappointed.

Treat it Nicely
By Susan W
This chair is just what I needed.
It's not heavy.
No assembly required.
It's comfortable enough where it doesn't feel like you're sitting on metal folding chairs.
I do agree with the other reviewer that it is a little pricy for a chair with no bells or whistles.
Update 12/5/2011: couple of weeks into using the product, and lower back support and seat have sunken a bit. this can be countered by placing a cushion...
Update 11/23/2012: do not over extend while sitting in the chair. think you can just rock back and reach for a phone behind you? think again. The lower right portion of the back broke. I am now out of a gaming chair.

Great!
By Makeup Addict
I bought this for my son in laws birthday. He loves it. He's over 6 feet tall, and it fits him just fine. Best part is, he was willing to give up his worn out recliner he was dragging out for gaming! LoL
See all
Great post, thanks for sharing this best budget gaming chair
